Dear Families

I set up what is now Simply One Stop Ltd in 1989 when as a mother I needed childcare for my two young children.  I lost my job as a nurse as a result of not being able to find adequate childcare, the options available to myself and my family were simply not good enough. As a result of this, I started Simply Domestics which aimed to supply families with trusted and flexible childcare. I started from a bedroom in my own home, and later went on to open up offices in Colney Hatch Lane, North London. The company quickly evolved and the childcare division is now known as North London Nannies and is a leading childcare provider throughout London and the surrounding areas.

As a parent I needed to know my children were being left with someone I could trust and rely on, and this has been the case for all of my children (there are now six of them). My goal was to provide carefully vetted workers that have been vigilantly checked and personally interviewed by a member of my team.

As time went on, we started to offer additional domestic services such as domestic cleaners, a pickup and delivery ironing service and expanding our childcare department to include a trusted regular babysitting service. We have always been aware that the needs of families are constantly changing, as a result of this we are very much open to suggestions of what our clients need.

Our children are our prized possessions, we value and understand how every parent wants to know their child is safe, therefore we highly encourage all our nannies to have first aid training and study for a childcare qualification. We now offer training in a variety of qualifications within childcare from our training division Learn Plus Us.

We have been established over 21 years and are very much a family run business with strong values and a great understanding of a growing families needs. With six of my own children, parents and husband all living under one roof, I know what strengths a nanny needs to have to ensure your day to day routines are eased and run smoother than ever. I am often invited to comment on radio and in the Press about my specialist subject Childcare and chair the REC childcare division.
