North London Nannies is very much a family business, that prides itself on quality and suitability of the people we provide you. Judith Wayne, the founder, has a personal message for you here.
Just as we work with you on a personalised basis to find solutions to your child care needs, we personally interview each candidate wishing to join our agency, and help each applicant decide on a position that best suits them. See some of our testimonials here.
Our agency follows the Recruitment and Employment Confederation (REC) check list for child care agencies. All candidates will provide us with full proof of identification an up to date CV and complete a detailed application form. We carefully check all information provided and where we believe information to be suspicious those applications will be rejected and in some instances advise our accredited child care partners.
As part of our interview process we look carefully at the candidate for initiative, dependability, kindness and the ability to work a consistent eight to ten hour day if required. Candidates without recognised qualifications are strongly encouraged by us to participate in one of the many courses run by our sister company Learn Plus Us.
Criminal Records Bureau enhanced disclosure.( CRB)
All child carers must have an enhanced certified disclosure. This is a police check checking to see that the nanny has not been entered on a register as not being suitable to work with children. The ideal is to have your CRB renewed annually. For more information on CRB click here www.civilandcorporate.co.uk
